Teen knifeman from Enfield sentencing delayed over Tottenham stabbing

A FAST food employee from Enfield found guilty of stabbing a teenager will be sentenced later this month.

Cuneyt Kaya, 19, of Kendal Avenue, was arrested following reports of two stabbings in December.

He was charged with two counts of wounding with intent, but he was cleared of both charges by a jury at Wood Green Crown Court, in Lordship Lane.

Kaya was convicted of one count of unlawful wounding.

The attack took place on December 1 last year near the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, in Town Hall Approach Road, Tottenham.

A 17-year-old boy had been slashed in his face, stomach and left arm. He was taken to the Royal London Hospital for treatment.

Kaya will be sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court.
