A NOEL Park man has been sent to a young offender's institute for breaking into a music store in Wood Green during August's riots.

Scion Fogah-Brown, 20, of Sirdar Road, broke into the HMV shop in High Road in the early hours of August 7, after rioting that broke out in Tottenham the night before spread across the borough.

Brown, unemployed, was identified after blood found at the scene by forensic investigators was matched with him and he was arrested three weeks later.

At Wood Green Crown Court on Monday, he was sentenced to 16 months in a young offender's institute after pleading guilty to burglary.
