Man charged over murder of Tottenham teen

An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a Tottenham teenager found dead last Tuesday.
Ako Khalid, of High Street, Barkingside, will appear tomorrow at Redbridge Magistrates' Court, charged with the murder of Cheryl Tariah.
The 17-year-old, of Dunlowe Avenue, was found in a flat above a Barkingside shop, after police were called to reports of a disturbance.
The teenager died from strangulation, a post-mortem examination concluded.
