An unemployed man from Haringey was charged under the dangerous dogs act on Friday for owning two pitbull terriers.
Nigel Mahon, 25, from Hillcrest, has been charged with two counts under the act after police seized two of the fighting dogs on January 10.
Mahon has been bailed and will appear at Highgate Magistrates Court on February 28.
