Tottenham goalkeepers Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini were on hand to help publicise the UK’s digital television switchover taking place in just a few weeks time.
The pair were photographed as part of a campaign aimed at helping older and disabled residents unsure about how the switchover works.
The club’s charitable arm, the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is hosting a conference at the club’s stadium White Hart Lane tomorrow to provide help and advice.
In six weeks time, television services across the country will switch from terrestrial to digital, meaning households without a digital box will no long receive a signal.
In conjunction with the government’s Switchover Help Scheme, the club is encouraging Tottenham residents to help out friends and family who may be unsure about the switch to digital.
Haringey and Enfield residents can get free help and advice at the Older People’s Active Lifestyle Partnership Conference at White Hart Lane stadium between 11am and 2pm tomorrow (Friday).
