A person has died after being hit by a train at Finsbury Park Tube station this morning.

The incident is the second of its kind on the Piccadilly Line this weekend, with a person taken to hospital yesterday after being hit by a train at Wood Green Tube station at 4.30pm.

Today's incident happened at 8.10am and the police do not consider it to be suspicious.

Service between Kings Cross and Arnos Grove was disabled until 9am but travel continues to be affected by severe delays.

Yesterday, a person was hit by a train heading westbound at Wood Green.

The service between Kings Cross and Arnos Grove was disabled until 6pm but continued to be affected by severe delays for the rest of the day.
