A man suspected of trying to rape a woman remains at large despite the crime taking place more than nine months ago.

Police released an e-fit image of the suspect today for the second time after failing to catch him following the attack on Saturday, July 2.

The man, who is described as having a foreign accent and in his mid 30s, is accused of grabbing a 22-year-old woman while she was walking in Ferme Park Road in Hornsey and forced her into the front seat of his car.

The man, who has dark hair, olive colour skin and stubble on his face, is believed to have attempted to rape the woman, but she struggled and was able to run away from him.

She had spent the evening with friends in pubs in Camden Lock and later in Stroud Green Road before walking on her own down Ferme Park Road between 12.30am and 01.20am.

At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing dark clothing. He is also described as having stubble on his face and being of stocky build.

Although the make of his car is unknown, it is described as being a four-door saloon painted in a dark colour.

The police continue to seek information about the attack and would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man.
