The man guilty of murdering two pensioners and wounding five men in a month-long rampage in Haringey parks is due to be sentenced today.

Ali Koc, 30, from Hornsey, was found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday of two counts of murder and five counts of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent against five men.

He is due for sentencing at 10am at the same court after the spate of attacks in Alexandra Park, Priory Park, Queen’s Wood and Downhills Park in January last year.
