Church hosts event to raise cash for cause

A church in West Green will host a community event tomorrow afternoon to raise money for a new building.
The afternoon of activities, at West Green Baptist Church in West Green Road, will include bric-a-brac stalls, a steel band, face painting sessions and a fashion show.
Members of the congregation have raised £240,000 towards the £545,000 target to replace the Memorial Hall which was demolished in 2009.
The event will take place between 2pm and 6pm. All are welcome to attend.
