Hackney murder victim named as Tottenham man

A 21-year-old man from Tottenham is believed to be the victim of a stabbing in Hackney on Wednesday.

Police are awaiting formal identification of the man, but say they believe him to be Kemar Duhaney, of Bruce Grove.

Mr Duhaney was stabbed in Buxhall Crescent, Hackney Wick on Wednesday July 11.

Police have arrested Damien Douglas, 23, of Ballance Road, Hackney, who has been charged with murder and appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court today.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday July 17.
