Pupils present portrait to Lord Pupils present portrait to Lord

Primary school pupils met Lord Sebastian Coe to present him with a portrait they created with a local artist as part of Olympic art project.

Year six pupils Imani George, Lindona Sokoli and Serhat Kinali from Stamford Hill Primary School visited Lord Coe at LOCOG’s head quarters in Canary Wharf with artist Nicola Green.

Ms Green is one of 11 artists commissioned by Haringey Council to create a unique Olympic 2012 art collection called ‘Oooooh Art’.

She worked on the portrait of Lord Coe with the help of pupils Stamford Hill Primary School.

The art collection and the portrait will be on display at the Bruce Castle Museum, in Lordship Lane, from July 25 to September 23.
