Appeal over attack on train
British Transport Police are appealing for information after a 42-year-old woman was attacked on a train near Tottenham.
Police have released images of a man and woman they would like to talk to in connection with the attack.
The victim boarded the London Overground train at Gospel Oak at 6.50pm on July 19 and bumped into a man.
She asked for an apology and the man then became aggressive towards her. A woman travelling with the man then joined in with the abuse before the pair attacked the woman kicking and punching her.
A guard on the train managed to break up the fight before the man and woman left the train at South Tottenham Station.
Police have released images of two people they would like to talk to in connection with the attack and are calling on anyone with any information to get in contact.
