Police raid cannabis factory in Tottenham
Police raided a cannabis factory last week recovering more than 550 plants after receiving information from members of the community.
Officers from Tottenham Green and Tottenham Hale Safer Neighbourhoods Teams carried out the drug search at a warehouse in Roseberry Avenue, in Tottenham on Friday August 17.
No one was in the building at the time of the search and inside the building they found more than 550 cannabis plants with equipment which could have been used to expand the drug growing operation.
Police were acting on information from the community who reported suspicious activity on the roof of the building.
Sergeant Paul Kane said: “Thanks to information from the local community, we have taken out a significant cannabis production operation and removed a good deal of the drug from circulation.”
