Man dies after being hit by train near Crouch Hill

A man has died after being hit by a train on rail lines near Crouch Hill station this morning.
British Transport Police were called to the scene at 5:24am to reports a man had been hit by a train, believed to be a freight service travelling from Daventry to Purfleet.
London Ambulance Service also attended the incident but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicions and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
