Families enjoy housing association fun day

Face painting, henna tattoos and a chance to sit in a fire engine were just some of the activities on offer for people living on an estate in Bounds Green.

Housing association asra hosted an open day in Bailey Close, as a chance for residents to find out what help they can get and about what is going on in their area.

Firefighters from Hornsey Station were also on hand to talk to people about service improvements and offered people advice about how to make their home safe from possible fire.

Mahiee Kabir from asra said: “It was a good day and it’s been great to talk to people. It’s been a chance for them to have a bit of fun and for us to talk to our residents to give as much help as possible.”
