New sport for all initiative launched in Haringey

A new initiative has been launched to help people with disabilities get active and involved in sport.

Following the success of the Paralympic Games, Haringey Council has launched the new scheme called The Inclusive and Active 2 Strategy which aims to help everyone, regardless of disability, get active.

The Council aims to do all it can to improve sport and physical activity opportunities for disabled people in the borough.

The authority will also be working with clubs around the borough to help them offer better access to sports and also increase the quality of coaching and sports on offer.
