Meeting to discuss the impact of the riots on tomorrow

Doctors will be hosting a public meeting to explore the psychological impact of last year’s riots on people living in Tottenham.

Mental health professionals from the Tavistock and Portman Clinics and Haringey mental health services are holding the meeting tomorrow evening at Tottenham Town Hall, in Town Hall Approach.

People living in Tottenham will be able to talk with one another and social workers about how they think they have been affected by the riots and what they think will help the community move forward.

The meeting will begin at 6:30pm and will be opened by Tottenham MP David Lammy and will include a number of guest speakers discussing how the riots may have impacted on people.
