An investigation has been launched into the causes of a fire in Tottenham where four people were saved from a burning house.
Police are treating the fire in White Hart Lane as suspicious and have launched an investigation after people in the house reported hearing a bang and saw fire coming from the front porch.
London Fire Brigade was called to the house at just before 3:40am on Sunday.
Crews with breathing apparatus had to rescue a 40-year-old woman, her 17 year-old daughter and two friends aged 15 and 14 from the blaze.
All four were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution and were later discharged.
Three fire engines and 15 firefighters tackled the fire and it was under control just before 4:40am.
Police are calling for anyone with any information to get in contact.
