Ten arrested for conspiracy to commit robbery in Turnpike Lane

Ten people have been arrested following a police investigation into a number of robberies from jewellers.

During the evening of September 16 and in the early hours of this morning all were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

The arrests follow an investigation by the Flying Squad into a series of robberies in north east London area with the groupof ten arrested in Turnpike Lane on Saturday September 15.

Marius Andrei Barbus, 24, Constantin Daniel Irina, 30, Ovidiu Gabor, 25, Vasile Alexandru Bataraga, 22, Iulian Roman, 21, Ioan Gavrilut, 25, Gheorghe Macovei, 22, Puiu-danut Paunescu, 26, Iulian Culba, 21, Catlin Paise, 19, will all appear in Thames Magistrates' Court today.
