Lordship Rec Community Festival on this weekend

A community festival to celebrate the regeneration of park will be taking place this weekend.

The Lordship Rec Community Festival, in Lordship Lane, will take place on Saturday September 22, from 1pm to 5pm.

The celebration comes after ten years of work by the Lordship Rec Users Forum, who received a £4m Heritage Lottery Grant to help improve the park.

Improvements include a new bike track, an open orchard with new wildlife areas, new play facilities and the renovation of the Shell Theatre for performances.

On Saturday people will be able to enjoy a number of free activities including sports, games, dog show, an animal corner and The Tottenham Horticulture, Produce and Green Show.
