Turnpike Lane barber shop owner fined after being caught without a TV licence

A barber shop owner has been ordered to pay £365 after he was caught without a TV licence.
Sahabettin Askar, owner of VIP Barbers in West Green Road, Turnpike Lane, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
He was fined £200 for the offence of using a TV without a licence at the business and was ordered to pay £150 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
The Haringey Independent has been unable to get in contact with Mr Askar.
