YOU.Matter comes to Tottenham on recruitment drive

A volunteering project is coming to Tottenham to try and recruit some new members.
YOU.Matter will be insideTottenham Town Hall from 12pm until 4pm on October 6.
During this time its members will demonstrate a number of activities that volunteers could get involved with.
Opportunities that will be showcased are with St John Ambulance, Sea Cadets, Boys’ and Girls’ Brigades, Army Cadets, Volunteer Police Cadets, Girl Guides, Air Training Crops and The Scout Association.
YOU.Matter is run by the Safer London Foundation and is part of Team London – the Mayor of London’s programme to make volunteering easier to do.
Its aim is to get adult volunteers on board so that they can then give young people the opportunity to try out new activities and learn new skills.
