Mail sorting offices which serve people living in Harringay and Hornsey will be closing early next year.
The sorting office at the rear of the Arena Shopping centre, in Harringay Green Lanes, called the Finsbury Park delivery office, has been earmarked for closure by Royal Mail as a cost cutting measure.
This facility and delivery offices in South Tottenham, Highgate and Upper Holloway, are due to close by February next year.
Operations from these sites will move to a new site on the Bush Industrial Estate, in Station Road in Upper Holloway.
Included in the plans is the closure of the Hornsey sorting office, with operations moving to the vacated Upper Holloway and Highgate sorting office site in March.
Royal Mail says the changes are as a result of declining mail volumes and must take steps to make its operation on the capital more efficient and effective.
Delivery director for north London, Steve Molloy says service to customers will be the company's top priority during the changes and Royal Mail will do all it can to minimise disruption to customers.
