Wood Green shopping centre murder victim named

The man stabbed to death in a fast food restaurant in Wood Green has been named as Pelivan Zekaj.
The 23-year-old Albanian, of Monksfield, Finsbury Park, was killed in Burger King in the Wood Green Shopping Centre while on a trip to the cinema with friends on Thursday October 4.
Police were called to the centre at 11:15pm to reports of a disturbance involving a number of people at the restaurant. Mr Zekaj was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
On Friday more than 20 of Mr Zekaj’s friends met outside The Mall Shopping Centre, in High Road, lighting candles, laying flowers and an Albanian flag in memory of their friend.
Police say there have been no arrests in connection with the incident and are calling for anyone with any information to get in contact
