Call for volunteers to help vulnerable adults in Haringey

People are being urged to volunteer as a carer to help vulnerable adults.

Those with a spare room in their home and willing to help people live an independent life are being called to volunteer for the Shared Lives Haringey scheme.

Shared Lives was established 20-years-ago and finds volunteers willing to allow vulnerable adults to stay in their home, helping them live more independently by providing a stable, supportive place to live.

The charity provides homes for people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and older people with dementia.
