Model engineers to descend on Ally Pally for annual exhibition

One of the country’s largest model engineering exhibitions will be coming to Ally Pally this month.

From Friday January 18 to Saturday 20, the Great Hall of Alexandra Palace will have thousands of model planes, trains and automobiles on display.

Members of more than 50 national and regional clubs will be displaying their collections at the London Model Engineering Exhibition.

More than 15,000 people are expected to attend the event which will include all elements of modelling from the tradition steam locomotives to modern gadgets such as helicopters.
