A GLITTERING ceremony to honour London's inspirational youth will be held at Alexandra Palace this year.
And Haringey Council is calling on the community to nominate the borough's young heroes who are an asset to their generation.
The Spirit of London Awards, in its first year, will see young people aged five to 25 being honoured in categories such as Community Champion, Young Hero, Achievement through Sport, Music Arts and Education.
The awards will be held at the landmark building, in Wood Green, on November 27.
Councillor Lorna Reith, cabinet member for children and young people, said: "Haringey has so many inspirational young people who are a credit to our borough.
"So while Haringey is hosting the ceremony, I'd like to see our young people winning awards too.
"If you know a young person who is making a positive difference in our community, please nominate them and help give them the appreciation they deserve."
Nominations must be received by September 30 at www.spiritoflondonawards.com
