POLICE raided a flat in South Tottenham this morning, seizing two pit bull-type dogs and arresting a man on suspicion of drug possession.
Around 30 officers from Haringey Police and the Metropolitan Police's Territorial Support Group broke through the door of the building in Albert Road at around 7.45am, after receiving a tip-off from a member of the public.
A mother and her puppy, both believed to be pit bulls, were taken as part of the Met's crackdown on dangerous dogs, and a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis and owning dangerous dogs.
The operation means 15 dangerous dogs have been seized in the borough since January.
