3D look at Broadwater Farm's learning campus

BROADWATER Farm's proposed learning campus which will unify three primary schools has been unveiled in 3D.

For the first time, parents, residents and teachers will clearly be able to visualise at an exhibition on March 19 what the centre, due to open in 2012 if planning permission is granted, will look like.

The inclusive learning campus forms part of Haringey Council's 12-year primary school strategy to raise educational standards for young people and will be funded by central Government.

Housed on site will be Broadwater Farm Primary School, Moselle and William C Harvey special schools, and a children's centre.

It will boast first-class facilities to support objectives in the school strategy such as improving IT skills, the council said.

Councillor Lorna Reith, cabinet member for children and young people, said: "The campus would bring benefits to young people and the wider community.

"This event is a great opportunity for people to see how the campus could look and understand how the facilities would improve teaching, learning and extended services in the area."

Residents are invited to attend the exhibition and planned information day in the infant hall at Broadwater Farm Primary School, in Moira Close, Tottenham, between 3.30pm and 7pm.
