THE new Harpers Fitness Club, a key phase in the £1 million improvements to Harrow Leisure Centre in Christchurch Avenue, Wealdstone, was officially opened last week.
The event featured a demonstration on how the gym's equipment is accessible for disabled users. "Harpers places us firmly back in the position of number one fitness facility in the area," said lesiure centre contract manager James Picton. "We are confident that our members will be delighted with the improvements. The club has almost doubled in size with a great range of equipment and plenty more room."
