Community conference on Plan for Tottenham announced

The proposals for the Wards Corner and Seven Sisters development are part of the Plan of Tottenham
Campaigners are hoping to focus their opposition to Haringey Borough Council’s plan for Tottenham at a conference later this month.
The community planning meeting is being organised by new community group Our Tottenham, which includes members of the Wards Corner Coalition that has been fighting plans to redevelop the site above Seven Sisters.
The conference aims to bring together different community and activist groups to discuss planning and developments laid out in the Plan for Tottenham, launched by Haringey Borough Council in August last year.
Campaigners hope the conference will provide people with a better understanding of the plan and what aspects of it groups are against.
A meeting to organise the conference will take place on Wednesday January 16 at the North London Community House, in Moorefield Road, Tottenham.
