Finsbury Park Mosque has called on people to join in with a sporting event aimed at bringing communities together.
The mosque has organised a sports day in partnership with local churches and Haringey Council.
Zumba, athletics and football will be among the activities on offer at the Finsbury Park Community Games, to be held on September 21.
Mohammed Kozbar, director of the mosque, said: “Sport is the sort of thing which unites everyone regardless of their race, background, colour and religion.
“Therefore, the Finsbury Park Community Games is something which can bring all communities together, especially young people.”
Councillor Bernice Vanier, cabinet member for communities, said: “This is fantastic example of our community pulling together to organise an event for everyone to enjoy.”
