Green Party announce bid to gain MPs in Haringey
Haringey Green Party has announced both of its candidates for the May 2015 election.
Christine de Leòn will stand in Tottenham and Gordon Peters will stand in Hornsey and Wood Green.
Labour’s David Lammy is currently Tottenham’s MP while Lynne Featherstone, a Liberal Democrat, is the MP for Hornsey and Wood Green.
The Greens will be hoping to build on their relative success in May’s council elections, which saw them finish ahead of the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives in 7 of 19 wards.
