Members of the public are invited to a special council meeting to celebrate the life of the late Councillor Pat Egan.

Haringey Council's  full council meeting, taking place in the Wood Green Civic Centre from 7pm today, will provide friends, family and colleagues the chance to reflect on the contribution of the former Labour politician to the community.

Cllr Egan, who died in July aged 66, had been a Woodside ward councillor for eight years and was chief whip of the Labour group on the council.
