More buses will be travelling through a town centre following complaints from transport users.
The Haringey Lib Dem group says there will be more 43 and 234 buses serving Muswell Hill after a member of their group called on Transport for London to increase service to the area.
Concerns were raised by bus users who said the service had become irregular during the rush hour due to roadworks.
Liberal Democrat councillor for Muswell Hill Gail Engert contacted TfL calling for a more regular service.
As a result there will be more two extra buses on the 43 route from Muswell Hill to Highgate Station during peak times on weekday mornings and afternoons.
The councillor said: “I am very happy that Transport for London have listened to local people and laid on more buses during the busy periods.
“I hope this will make it easier for local residents who commute to work.”
