Young apprentices were urged to “strive for excellence” by their MP.
David Lammy, speaking at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre last week, told 80 students on the Leadership Through Sport Programme about his childhood in Tottenham.
The leadership programme organises a variety of coaching courses and work placements for students, which they complete alongside studying.
