Talks between the teaching union and headteachers are set to take place today.
The meeting looks set to go ahead despite concerns raised by the NUT over a letter from Woodside High headteacher Dame Joan McVittie criticising the strike action.
Gladesmore head and chairman of the Haringey Schools Forum Tony Hartney wrote to the NUT last Monday to suggest a meeting, which both the council and the union welcomed.
