A travelling film archive celebrating London's history will come to Haringey later this month.
Film London’s London Screen Archives will be taking its showcase of London’s cinema heritage for the next three years.
Its show, London: A Bigger Picture, will play at Bruce Castle Museum on November 26, at 7.30pm.
London’s Screen Archives film archivist Louise Pankhurst will be on hand to introduce the films.
The group are also searching for more footage of London to add to the archives.
The public are invited to search and donate films showing life in Haringey, from birthday parties to days out to footage of people in their homes, to share with future generations.
Rebekah Polding, Film London’s heritage manager, said: “We hope people across the city will be inspired by the project to donate films to their local archive.
"Donors won’t just help to enrich the collection, they’ll be preserving precious memories of the local area that will show what living in Haringey has been like over the decades.”
