A man charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 23-year-old man will make his plea in the New Year.
Jeffery Kessie, 20, of Elderberry Drive, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, was charged last Friday with the murder of Khiry Ford, who was stabbed in Haselbury Road, Edmonton, on Sunday, November 30 after a fight in the street.
Mr Kessie first appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday before appearing at the Old Bailey yesterday.
He has been remanded in custody after being refused bail and will now make a plea at the central London court on February 25.
A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday, December 2 found Mr Ford had died from a single stab wound.
Detectives investigating the murder have also charged two men with robbery.
