A golf course green keeper has won a City & Guilds award for excellence.
Kevin O’Neill, deputy head green keeper at Muswell Hill Golf Club, in Rhodes Avenue, Muswell Hill, will be awarded a medal and certificate at a glittering ceremony later this year.
He said: “I’m very pleased with the award as you can imagine.
“I put a lot of work into completing the Level 3 Diploma in green keeping and to get further recognition is obviously pleasing.
“As for my career going forward, I want to continue to learn and expand my knowledge and hopefully one day become a golf course manager.”
