There was plenty of hang time and slam dunks as schoolchildren bagged two golds and a bronze in a basketball tournament.
Boys and girls from Greig City Academy in High Road, Hornsey were competing at the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games at the SCORE Centre in Leyton.
The girls under-14 and under-16 teams both won their tournaments to pick up gold medals, with the boys under-14 side winning a bronze.
Captain of the Great Britain basketball team Drew Sullivan was in attendance to watch the Haringey pupils defeat the opposition at the event yesterday.
Greig City team manager Daniel Bowmaker said: “I am absolutely delighted, particularly for our under-16 girls team.
“They had a really tough game last year and didn’t qualify to national finals so it’s been really sweet to see the same group of girls train hard this year and come back and get the win.”
Both girls teams will now go on to compete at the National Schools Finals in May.
