A cannabis factory has been shut down by police officers.

Bounds Green Safer Neighborhoods Team were called to Palace Road, Bounds Green, this morning to concerns that a house was being used as a cannabis factory.

The landlord had visited the property but found the locks had been changed and once inside, officers discovered a small number of cannabis plants along with drug-related paraphernalia.

Acting Sergeant Roberto Vacca from Bounds Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “These premises contained equipment used specifically for the purpose of cultivating cannabis.

"The discovery of this factory and the seizure of plants will undoubtedly have an impact on the people supplying and selling cannabis. We will continue to target those responsible for committing offences and any form of anti social behaviour."
