Runners were left in shock as a man received chest compressions at a fun run.
Competitors ran past as the man was receiving CPR in front of Alexandra Palace in Alexandra Palace Way, Alexandra Park earlier this morning.
The London Ambulance Service attended the scene with one ambulance and two ambulance cars at 10.25am and administered CPR to the man who had been taking part in the race, believed to be in his 40s.
The London Ambulance Service declined to confirm the condition of the man or the hospital to which he was taken.
Race participant Thomas Mimnagh of Nelson Road, Crouch End, said: “The guy looked in a bad way - there were several paramedics attending to him, it was really distressing. In fact it was horrible to see.
“I wanted to stop running and do something but I felt helpless.”
