Gambler robbed of his winnings in Tottenham

A GAMBLER was ambushed by a group of men who robbed his winnings an hour after leaving a Tottenham betting shop.

The 41-year-old Turkish man had won a large amount of money in the shop, in High Road, Tottenham, at 5pm on May 19.

At 6pm, he decided to call it a day.

But as he walked in Gascoigne Close he was attacked from behind by a gang of men who robbed him of his winnings.

Police have now released images of a man they want to speak to who had been in the betting shop at the same time as the victim.
