A CHURCH in Wood Green is offering residents a free cup of coffee - and possibly a slice of cake - this morning.

St Michael's Church, in Bounds Green Road, will set up the stall in a bid to get closer to the community.

Father Denis Hartley said: "We are quite tucked away so this could be a nice way to remind people that we are here.

"Knowing the church, there will probably be cake but I can't promise that but anyone who fancies a drink should come down and see us."
