White Hart Lane community gym open for business

A COMMUNITY gym that specialises in weight training was opened in Wood Green on Sunday.
The new Active Strength gym, in Haringey Council-run White Hart Lane Community Centre, in White Hart Lane, is equipped with TechnoGym’s new Pure Strength™ range of resistance machines that replicate the feeling of free weights while optimising routines.
The gym will also be home to the Wood Green Weightlifting Club for amateur, semi-professional and professional training, led by experienced trainers with experience in coaching past and future Olympic athletes.
It is a fantastic facility with excellent prices, said Councillor Dhiren Basu, cabinet member for leisure.
