SPURS keeper Carlo Cudicini is expected to make a good recovery following successful surgery, doctors said.
The reserve keeper underwent surgery to his right wrist and pelvis on Friday after being thrown from his motorbike in Walthamstow on Thursday.
The 36-year-old Italian footballer, who joined the club in January, is expected to be released from hospital shortly but will be on crutches for the next 12 weeks.
Wayne Diesel, head of medical services at the private hospital where Cudicini is being treated, said: "Both specialists are extremely pleased with the result and expect a good recovery.
"Carlo is in a lot less discomfort than before the operations and is in good spirits.
"The splint on his left wrist has been removed and he now has full use of this wrist."
