A MUSWELL Hill pensioner who disappeared from his home on Wednesday is still missing after four days of searching.
Police first issued an appeal for his whereabouts after Gelsimo Ronchetti, 78, of Fortis Green Avenue, had been missing for 24 hours.
But there have been no developments since then and a search of the Trott Road allotments, where he holds a plot, proved fruitless.
His disappearance is out of character, according to his family.
Mr Ronchetti has a strong Italian accent, is about 5ft 8ins tall, medium build, with brown eyes.
It is believed he was wearing brown cord trousers, a half length brown jacket and tan shoes.
He was last seen by his wife at 9.30am leaving his home.
He is known to frequent the surrounding areas including Wood Green and Edmonton but also has links to Clerkenwell.
It is not known if he has any money but he has no bank cards or mobile phone.
Anyone with information about Mr Ronchetti's whereabouts is asked to call Haringey Police on 0300 123 1212 quoting reference 'CAD5742/03FEB'
