Teenagers charged with attempted robbery in Highgate

TWO teenagers, one as young as 13-years-old, have been charged with committing attempted robbery on Sunday.

The youths, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of using a knife to frighten a passer-by in Jacksons Lane into handing over his wallet and phone.

The victim refused and then called the police.

They have now been charged with attempted robbery and the 13-year-old has additionally been charged with knife possession.

They will appear at Haringey Magistrates Court, in Lordship Lane, Tottenham, later today and are currently remanded in custody.
