THE body of a Muswell Hill pensioner who went missing last month was found in a Hampshire canal on Saturday.
Gelsomino Ronchetti, 78, of Fortis Green Avenue, had been missing for nearly a month when rescuers recovered his body from the Basingstoke Canal at around 11.30am on Saturday.
Police said they were not treating the death as suspicious and have passed his case to the Basingstoke Coroner.
The pensioner's disappearance was described by his family as "out of character".
